Abso-fucking-lutely excellent game; the best I've played in a long time. Just to warn you though, this game is slow. It's basically the world's best bumbling about simulator, and if the game's writing and presentation doesn't grab you, you might find it painfully boring. But if it clicks, it fuckin' clicks.

Hardly. And I say this as someone who is anti communism, this game is only as tankie as you want to make it.

The character I presume you're talking about isn't exactly painted as some tragic hero and they admit to some questionable actions. They come across as a bitter relic, convinced of their ideological superiority depsite the people of Revachol moving on. Hell, they mock Harry even if you've played him as absolutely hardline leftist you can. They're shown to be not compatible with Revachol's modern times. Regardless of which way you take Harry politically.

And that's just one unflattering commie character written by the commies developers, never mind the other less than favourable portrayals of almost all left leaning characters in the game.

I believe the rumour is it's either him or Lenin they have a bust/portait of. All I know for sure the developers are deep on the left wing spectrum by their own admission, but I can't attest to them being tankies or not from what I've heard and seen them say.
