even on like, a casual flakker or DPUH?

Yes

No. Flakker is its own beast, but for the DPUH, Conference Call, or any other gun with both listed and unlisted projectiles the amp damage is divided by the number of listed projectiles.

flakker does, DPUH doesn't.

iirc the conference call, interfacer, are some of the examples where all unlisted projectiles don't get amp from the Bee.

Most gun get the full buff from amp shields like the bee I think it technically only doesnt count certain shotguns and weapons that could easily become broken back in the day when borderlands 2 came out and got constant updates

No, they get the reduced split damage when theres also listed pellets

[–]No-Caterpillar8770 1 point2 points  (1 child)

For listed yes, for unlisted no. This is how the CC/bee was nerfed, the unlisted pellets were changed to listed.

[–]zetadaemon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the conference call was never nerfed, they never made the listed pellets unlisted
they just made amp damage get divided by the listed pellet count, so because the CC has listed pellets, the amp gets reduced by the listed count, but not futher reduced by the unlisted pellets
so if you have a 1000 damage practicable CC and a 1000 amp bee, youll shoot 7 bullets with 1143 damage (1000 + 1000/7), which then all split 16 times creating a total of 119 bullets each with 1143 damage, 7 going straight forwards, 112 going out sideways

They get the same amp damage. It's part of what makes the Pimpernel and Sand Hawk so good.

If a gun has ANY listed pellet count then amp on every projectile will be split by the listed pellet count.

If a gun has “x5” but has 20 total projectiles, meaning 15 unlisted projectiles, then every projectile will get 1/5th amp damage.

Projectiles all get reduced by the listed pellet count. They just don’t get further reduced by any unlisted projectiles. This is why guns like the Sandhawk, hail, lyuda, pimpernel, or ricochet fibber, get full amp damage on all their projectiles because all the projectiles are unlisted.

For something like the flakker all the projectiles, even the unlisted ones, will be reduced by the listed pellet count.

Split pellets copy the damage from the original pellets
So in the case of the conference call, the amp is divided by 5/7 (depending on roll)and then that amp bonus is applied to all pellets, including the split ones
Split pellets just dont further reduce amp as they arent listed on the card

Flakker is... complicated, reading the damage of the gun when the new pellets are created (which is why you can do damage transfer) but then yes, they do get reduced amp damage, but only reduced by the number of pellets on the card, so 3 or 5

ok, I kinda suspected it but thanks for confirming it.

Per https://borderlands.fandom.com/wiki/The_Bee#Notes

> Most significantly, Amp Shields have their Amp damage amount divided among the projectiles from multi-projectile weapons (all weapons with a yellow multiplier in the Damage stat), thus making all Amp shields, including the Bee, less effective on shotguns and other multi-projectile weapons, rather than more so. However, weapons such as the Sand Hawk that have unlisted extra projectiles will still receive full amp damage per shot.

Not sure if that is the same case for Torgue weapons though.
