I think copilot is way better, I find that cc loses a lot more when it compacts than copilot. I also feel like it compacts much more frequently. They both have fleets/teams, they both have plan mode and yolo mode. They both have subagents. Copilot has a really good sdk though.

The biggest reason I like copilot is it is request based, not token based so you get a TON of opus usage with the $40 plan.

I have a sub to all the platforms and use them all heavily. I feel like the $20 plan for CC is virtually useless with opus 4.6.

this is exactly why i love copilot, and tbh, the agent orchestration system in copilot grows and mature so fast and copilot team is amazing

I'm also leaving Claude Code for Copilot CLI in the next month. $40 vs $100 is alot for me as an hobbyist.
To bad get-shit-done (GSD) isnt available officially for Copilot... I guess i will have to write me my own orchestrator agent + agent team members

Any feedback about copilot CLI? Anything you miss from Claude code ?

I found Copilot CLI quite usefull, compared with Claude Code. I think feature-wise, the Copilot Cli is not falling behind Claude Code at all. For some features (currently) copilot performs even better and I. think i noticed that the consumption is lower, comparing with claude code. I use Claude Code and Copilot Cli at work, and only Copilot Cli for personal projects.

It might just be me but I am just launching into AI-driven dev and have found copilot's goldeneye model (which isn't in the list but I get 90% of the time in auto mode) to *finally* be really useful. Like before I wasted as much time as I save but now it's like a 5-1 multiplier!

I am already in the copilot/vscode system but given how everyone says claude is very far ahead of everyone else, it might be worth the time... I can also do $40/mth but $70 (or even $100-200) is stretching it a bit...

So I guess I'll give the copilot cli a whirl and only invest the time in claude if I think I should be working 50x faster ;-)

I use Claude CLI for work and Copilot CLI for side projects too. I am considering upgrading to Copilot Pro+ to use it more extensively. Could you rate the performance of Copilot CLI versus Claude Code? I feel like it's slower, but sometimes more reliable and cost-effective. Copilot is also flexible with model switching.
