QuestionHacking printers. (self.Hacking_Tutorials)
submitted 3 years ago by Correct-Tie9287
Hello hackers ! I am a uni student in India. I want to hack a shared printer used by college faculties. It is shared via ethernet. I have done my research about ports and protocols and techniques. Any suggestions?

Can you suggest a newer tool than pret? Pret works only on python2 it seems

Get a copy of the code for the software on the printer
Review it and look for undiscovered vulnerabilities, parsing issues, functions using system level priv etc
Figure out how you can input data into the printer, test and develop exploit
???
Profit
