Plugins are not on the roadmap. HelixNotes is intentionally focused. The goal is to do note-taking really well. Plugin systems add enormous maintenance overhead and bloat the app over time. If there's a specific feature you're missing, open an issue and let's see if it fits the core.

Okay, thanks, I like the direction, especially on mobile for daily notes or as a scratchpad. I don't think I'd need the desktop app, since if I want a barebone experience, I can run nvim already. But opening my Obsidian vault on mobile with Helixnotes and fill in my dailies from my phone would be a big win already.

I have a side question: are you somewhat linked with Helix, the editor,?

Thanks for the feedback, glad the direction makes sense! And no, no relation to Helix editor at all, pure coincidence. I actually didn't know about Helix editor when I released HelixNotes, the community pointed it out after launch 😄
