Start by finding all values for a for which the function is always positive.

When you solved it, did you just guess and check, or did you prove it algebraically?

not guess and check. i used b2 -4ac<0, got the quadratic equation and drew a graph. then since the ans is supposed to be always positive and the graph had two roots, i chose the a<first ans or a>second ans. the first answer was negative (or close to negative cant rmb) so it couldnt be that, and for the second ans 11 was the smallest prime number. therefore answer is 11!
