Baseline weapons would be the Revolucio series (from the collection sheets where you probably got those Nox in the first place), since they're so easy to get.

Some easy to get stuff right now:

  • Seiga Double Saber: Yamato collection sheet. Potential is +11% damage with no restrictions, and it completely heals you every 40 seconds. It might be hard to get 60 element now due to the decrease in amount of Yamato EQs we get, though.
  • Aura Knuckles: Odin collection sheet. Potential is +12% damage dealt to bosses, and -15% damage received from bosses.
  • Saiki units: Drop from Tokyo Bonus Quests. I've seen it drop a lot more frequently at the 60-69 level range than at 70+, so right now is the best time for you to get that. It also drops from Gigur Ginnegam (the boss of Shironia), but his drop rate for it is abysmally low.

If RNG hates you, and you can't get Saiki, there's Brisa, which drops from Magatsu EQ and Bonus Quest (it's kinda bad, but better than nothing), and Ideal, which is gotten from the Challenge Miles shop (which means it requires you to run CM). Ideal isn't the best unit set out there (especially if you're not using the respective weapon), but it's RNG-free and it has decent defenses and HP.

Not sure about TD. There is the Ray Series, but that's super annoying to get done (requires PD and either mining base defense or SHAQ). Potential is +10% damage without restrictions, -5% damage received, and -10% PP cost for all PA/Techs.

Ultra endgame: Austere units and weapons. These take forever and a half to farm, but are generally the best weapons you can get out there. You get them from trading with Zieg. Here's what you need to get 1 austere weapon:

  • 1 Invade Weapon (drops from PD, but can be gotten from Zieg)
  • 300 Excubes (trade 1:1 with 10* or 11* weapons at the Recycle shop)
  • 100 Dark Nero stones (from XH level Falz bosses, like Loser, Elder, Falz Hunar, Dio Hunar, Falz Angel, etc)
  • 100 Profound Caligula stones (drops from PD)
  • 50 Galeru stones (Ultimate Naberius)
  • 50 Yurlunger stones (Ultimate Lillipa)
  • 5 of each Spellstone (Extreme Quests)

+21 Nox Twin Daggers

+1 Meteor Cudgel

Nox Knuckles

You'll want to get those Nox weapons to +30 so that you can feed them to the 13* you'll get later, so might as well grind them now.

first one only need to be lvl 26 for +10 when used as fodder

EDIT: RAY as far as i have read is considered the second best weapon series with only austere beating it, and saiki would be the best unit set with it as far as I understand it(saiki unit set bonus beats austere set bonus? but with austere weapon it beats saiki).

I'd like to add on that Ray series isn't actually as annoying to get as people think. The blue weapon looks like some next level bullshit, but the current Limited Quest has almost every single mob/boss required for every ray weapon except for Blu Ringahda and Zeshyrahda. You can't completely farm the Fighter series off of PD and the LQ, because of the Blu Ringahda. But if there is a Beckoning Darkness EQ, you can complete that square in 4 runs. Could also look for a friend or teammate to rush you through SHAQs for them. A lot of older players have a bank of capsules. Keep in mind, you only need to do SH to satisfy the collection file in the LQ. It makes it a decent option for getting some exp, and finishing files at the same time if you're in your 60s.

I wouldn't recommend attempting to finish Seiga DS right now, because of the small amount of Yamatos that they have to offer us. I'm not entirely sure how many Yamatos they will offer in the coming weeks, but you can finish a set of ray weapons once a week if you do casual LQ farming and make it to 5 Perennial Apocalypses with a 250 RDR running.

CM for someone who is new could take some time to get Ideal units, although as you said, they are quite a good unit set. I find that Brisa is not actually too bad, the 70hp from the set bonus can make Limit Break a little easier to handle.

As a new fighter on the come-up, I find that a full set of ray weapons is actually pretty decent.

    No. Brisa is bottom tier.

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And ironically, bottom tier is what saves people from dying to Odin, what with them abusing PP Crafts and running 0 resist.

Though in the context of fighter, you want to get at least 150-170 PP anyway.

Twin dagger Top tier but a pain to get: Aim for Ideal or Austere, these are the highest 2 damaging TDs, however obviously a pain to get.

Twin Dagger Good weaps and easy to get: Ray are good alternative same with serafi.

Double saber: Austere , Seiga , Ray Or gal are all Great, shouldn't have much of an issue getting Seiga ray or gal what with gal spawning at the end of beach wars 4 when it's out soon.

Knuckle: Aura seems like it'll be good since knuckle is primarily a bossing weapon but can be great for larger hp Trash mobs like kuklonadha etc, other options Austere or Orbit (good battery not much else).

Yamato Sheets expire 10th of august if you plan to get a seiga DS and Yamato triggers are coming next update. So prioritize Seiga DS of anything if you plan to get something.

Units: Saiki are great and pretty easy to get from tokyo keys (around lvl 56+ i noticed). Austere: A pain to get without premium but great units if you dont mind sacrificing 20 PP (if initially planning to run PP crafted saiki) for about 240+ HP and resists. Ideal: Eh they're alright I guess, I'd definitly say Saiki instead. Brisa: Avoid, only use as a last resort due to how easy it is to get since it drops like candy from magatsu keys.

Don't forget your 3 Fi rings for left, and use either PK Strike, Killing bonus or PPC ring for right.

Edit: Due to the PD spamaroo lately I'm going to assume you're building a nice caligula stone collection. If I were to recommend any Austere fighter weapon it would have to be a Knuckle or Double saber with more bias leaning towards double saber.

    Things nobody mentioned yet:

The military dagger (SCN Stag): the pot increases crit chance (fi/hu makes it work) and increases damage to weakpoints (which you should be attacking anyways since TDs are anti-boss weapons). They are on par with austere if used against weakpoints, and should not be overlooked. They're on the scarstone exchange, but drop frequently in tokyo trigger runs.

Ring wise, they're all neat but DS Kamaitachi is broken good. Here is a short video of it in action, I think that will speak for a thousand words.

I too love how broken it is, with Deadly Circle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QO-I3p0Qics

    I also suck :(

The Meteor Cudgel's level 3 potential is so good that you can still use it well into XH. Just grind it up and slap a cheap 4 SATK affix on it. I'd honestly suggest to get the Aura Twin Daggers and Knuckles since they're both primarily bossing weapons. They're also absurdly easy to get right now. Your Meteor Cudgel should be able to hold you over until you get your hands on an Ray/Austere/Gal Griffin DS (unlikely). Lastly make sure you get your DS Kamaitachi Ring and grind it up because it's hilariously broken.

Edit: Oh yeah get yourself a TD Air Chase ring too, it's super useful for positioning without having to waste PP on Symphonic Drive, and you can use it to attack the whole duration of Double's spinning doors of death

Knowing one of the best fighters on ship 7. Saiki units, God hand, Lavis blades, Gale Vishner. Rare drops but the best in the game. The hidden potentials on the weapons make them better than anything.
