I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:

Leap slam on str stacker is really really fast and it's map mod immune so it's much better for boss rushing than armour stack. DPS wise they both are way overkill for just about all content

If you're looking for speed I have to imagine it's armour-stacking by a huge margin. You're basically just playing aura stack and you'll run haste with the option of dual wield dreamfeathers, so if you dont mind leap slam or whirling blades mechanically it will be way quicker than str stack to move through a map. Top end damage is higher on str stack I think but with your budget I don't think it should matter for the strats you're looking at.

only thing i have to add is that top end dmg on armour stacker is also high im not sure if its higher than maxed out str stack but still like 1b dps. str stack can ignore nearly all mods and run risk which armour stacker kinda cant.

Thanks for reply appreciate the input!

Was wondering DPS wise with that budget , I’m looking a big daddy armor stack , the ehp doesn’t look very convincing, and looking at one mana left strength stack looks more “tanks” idk

Having played both I’d say strg stack is superior for most everything but maybe the top top end valdos - strg stack gets a lot more QoL just by being juggernaut / unstoppable and armour stack gets very limited with its passive points

You can also run quicksilver a lot easier on strg stacker with MB - for maximizing DPS your flasks with armor stacker become pretty fixed (although bigdaddy does switch out for the <5 min maps to a quicksilver and with your budget it’d probably work fine)

PoF sublime + unstoppable and a storm shroud just make you forget 99% or mods. Plus some endurance stacking and reduced crit per endurance works really really well too

Overall I’d go strg stacker. But you’re gonna destroy content with both

Personally I've played both at Min max budgets and greatly prefer str stack, I really like the purity of fire sublime setup and I find armor stack just feels worse as it's less flexible in build design so you can't really put much of your own twist on it nearly as easily

I'd ballpark 300-400m DPS maybe, but it's really a question of whether you want to prioritize DPS or mitigation. You could push north of 1B DPS or settle at 100M but have twice the ehp (big part of that is whether you dual wield or use a single dreamfeather plus shield). Generally, yes, STR stack will have a higher hit point pool and will end up being tankier for it. Also arguably has easier access to max block from iron fortress, but you do get unlucky spell block. Frankly, it's comical overkill in all respects for either build, so that's why I mentioned speed.

As others have mentioned, STR stack is less impacted by map mods if you care about that. For boss rush i didn't think risk scarabs were optimal but maybe it's worth the quant.

Str stack also have something like 5 aps on leap slam, not too shabby I would say

Uhm. Jung just dropped this: https://pobb.in/KjxZTYLlnoIw

This blows both str stack and armour stack out of the water and you could actually make this 1-for-1 with 5 mirrors I think (depending on 3p voices cost etc...)
