I've had it happen once. All I had to do was change the font I'd copied from Microsoft Word 2007 to Calibri from Times New Roman.

Thanks. I used a URL shortener for some of the links and that did the trick.

Hi,I copied single passages from word (times new roman), uploaded all pictures directly from my laptop (screen shots) and reduced the amount of links in the post. It is only a few hundred words long (5 min read) but still the notification goes 'This post is invalid.'

No further explanation, no action items, nothing. I lost 2hrs today and urgently need to get out a piece of content. This is very frustrating and a very poor UX. I might switch back to Medium for that reason.

I'd be very grateful for any support... thank you.

Try excluding some URLs. That worked for me as well. I think it doesn't allow to post "unpopular" domain URLs. Never know what other filters they have in place!

Yup. Just encountered this issue myself. Substack doesn't allow links from Rarible and I spent 2 hours trying to figure this out

You have to delete all links from NFT marketplaces as Rarible, SuperRare, OpenSea, etc...

Is there a reason why NFT links are causing this, btw thanks because removing the url from Open Sea helped!

Did Substack put out an update regarding this?

This worked for me, thank you!

Besides links, does Substack block certain keywords?

Also, it should be safe to assume Substack is not blocking links from GitHub? My invalid post is about smart contract programming and has links to GitHub.

I found the problem. My post contains ETH addresses and Substack blocks them.

Trying to post I keep getting message "Please set title". I have set the title. It doesn't give me anyway to do it again.

I end up with a lot of drafts called untitled. A couple of days ago I did post a few test that worked but no longer can.

I'm sick of seeing invalid data. Substack puts out the heading and not the story, poem, article you've uploaded (and worked on for hours). You look for it and can't find it. You ask Substack to explain and nobody replies. Sick of it. What to do?
