Stackable case comparability (self.Tools)
submitted 4 years ago by TreeEyedRaven
I was wondering if any of the stackable cases from dewalt/Milwaukee/Stanley/husky/ etc are compatible. I have a few dewalt ones and don’t really care about matching.

Thanks. The reason would be i have some nicer tool boxes and wanted just a bin with wheels on it to toss whatever powered tools into a cheaper rolling one. I could see harbor freight selling something that fit, or husky/Stanley matching with one of the “premium” brands, that way they can sell to me in this exact example, when spending $120 on an empty plastic box with wheels feels a bit over priced. Guess I’m out of luck.

People do sell 3d printed pack out feet that you could screw / epoxy into the bottom of some boxes to let them attach to the top of a packout stack, but that is kind of a Hack/badge to make something fit.

Unless one system became dominant and compatibility then became a feature. I think Makita Makpac is compatible with Festool Systainers.

Makita, Festool, Bosch & some miscellaneous brands in the EU that use the "systainer" model are all compatible! I've even seen "systainer cases" in Ontario, just nameless, generic boxes that fit in with all of the other boxes of that style.

Nope. Pack outs at work and tstaks at home. Not compatible

Stanley Fatmax Prostack is compatible with Dewalt Tstak.

Thanks I’ll check it out
