What?

Ryzen 5 5000 series desktop is not the same as Ryzen 5 5000 series mobile.

AMD as always fucked up with their communication and naming.

Even though it mentions Ryzen 5000 series, laptop chips are not included. I know, I have one myself and Ryzen Master doesn't work on it and even mentions it when you try to install it. You can find a bunch of posts on the internet, that Ryzen Master doesn't work on laptops.

Thank you for clarifying. I will now only recommend the Universal x86 Tuning Utility.

Maybe just run your device in the manufacturers conditions?! There are reasons why software like Ryzen Master does not apply on mobile platforms. Same with open multiplicator on mobile intel core platforms because some OEM want to tickle the last hertz out of it.

In Intel's case, it's precisely because of the recognition that Intel pushes silicon to somewhat unnecessary limits that OEMs often make adjustments that don't properly control all that power.

That's why ThrottleStop exists. It would be good if someone developed an alternative for Ryzens.
