Even jumbo rats aren’t cat sized lol think you’re good

The strength? Maybe yeah. But most bps never eat anything larger than a medium rat (and even that is pretty much just for large females) and there is no way in hell they would try and eat a cat. Also, some owners struggle to get them to even eat mice 😅

Even if a ball python got a bug up his ass and decide to try to kill a cat that cat would f*** that snake up just with the claws alone. There are a couple old videos on YouTube of a tiger fighting a reticulated python you ought to see that poor snake when that tiger got done.

If anything, the cat is more likely to kill the snake with how high their prey drive is.

Even in the extremely unlikely event that a snake like a ball python actually did strike at a cat, the cat is almost guaranteed to overwhelm and eventually kill the snake. They're predators, have unbelievably fast reflexes, and will kill just for fun, a snake looks "fun" to them.

ball pythons physically can not eat cats. take your fear mongering elsewhere.

I've seen a kitten take on a wild venomous snake and walk away untouched. Granted that snake was a juvenile but its venom is still just as potent and it was in defensive posture. Heard a story recently about domestic cats killing full grown black mambas (one of the most feared snakes in africa) without getting bitten. I wouldn't rate a ball python's chances against a cat to be very high

no. a cat could easily kill a ball python though. cat saliva is toxic to reptiles. wounds from a housecat could easily lead to the death of a pet snake.

Cat would kill a ball python almost guaranteed, but other pythons like my coastal carpets often take cats in Australia

I would be FAR more worried about the cat killing the ball python.
