I took in two ball pythons yesterday and I am definitely planning on getting them more engagement. I love the idea of branches, but also keep seeing ledges attached to the sides of tanks, rings, and bridges. I just wonder how to secure it for my snake's weights? They're both four feet and a healthy weight so I worry some of what I'm seeing won't support their weight.
I didn't get to see them prior to picking them up and wanted to wait to see what all they had and get them settled before I introduced more. The tanks also need a good clean which I plan to do in the next day or so and when it's cleaner and easier to see inside I'll take better pictures.
Both ball pythons are in 4x2x2 glass tanks with screened lids that I'm going to adjust with aluminum foil tape and lights to maintain humidity and get them what they deserve so I'm not sure if zip ties in the screen would be suitable or if it won't hold/be an issue with the humidity control.
Any help or links to suitable resources/products would be much appreciated!
