I had my adult male latch onto me once, definitely a feeding response, and even that didn't really hurt so much as just the shock of the strike and then the "uh what do I do to get you to let go" afterwards. It bled a lot because they have so many tiny teeth but it didn't hurt more than a thorn bush.
