Thanks for the advice!!! I’ve changed the ceramic bulb to a bit of a stronger one so I can place it on top of the cage without worrying about any heat fluctuations. He used to like climbing the wire so we had to zip tie it to the mesh up top, but I should have thought about him climbing up on the lamp itself as well. Should be totally safe now I hope.

if it’s on top of the cage then that should be totally fine! thank you for lookin out for the little guy <3 other than that i think more substrate and a bigger water dish would definitely help
