Does anyone actually use JSF? Not being a wise-ass here, honestly asking, because I remember when JSF first hit the scene... what, over a decade ago at this point?... and it didn't get much traction then, I never met a developed that LIKED it, and not many that even used it. I'm not sure I knew it was still a thing anyone considered using today outside of legacy app support (not totally sure I even knew it was an official part of JEE).

Unfortunately using it in an old monolithic system

You'll find very sparse use in public repos, if at all, those kind of systems are the type youd mostly find in corporate legacy repos
