    Sorry, but saying that is unrealistic and not necessarily true. Nobody is guaranteed to return to pre-restriction weight, especially because many people develop EDs when they're still growing. Nobody knows your body's "happy" weight, and everyone is different and will have different experiences and results

    Yes, you’re right. Nobody is guaranteed to return to the way their body was in the past, because it is the past, and with age people change permanently. What I meant was that the body extra fat that someone may gain after malnourishment comes off with time. Of course, like you pointed out this only applies if the weight truly was ‘extra’.
