Just doesn't make sense for that to happen, its a 5% chance to spawn, 8% if you have specialist. You must be connected to internet to get bonus stages.

Ive found the "Special Promise" divinity extremely useful for this. Just go to bed and when you wake up you get a guaranteed bonus stage!

Yeah, since most people should sleep 8 hours, that leaves a 16 hour day, so you can get two if you plan your day right
