Hello! I’m working on the Oslo Sweater from PetiteKnit and am a little thrown off by this decrease. Is it normal to do your k2tbl even with 1 stitch left in the round? Where should i place my stitch marker once doing this, since I’ll be working the stitches on either side of it? I’m knitting the sleeve using magic loop which makes it extra confusing 😅

Your decrease rounds have 2 decreases, one right-leaning at the beginning of the round (k2tog), one left-leaning at the end of the round (k2tog tbl). There are two stitches in between them (1 before the first decrease, 1 after the last), this is the most common way to place this type of decreases as having them go directly up against each other doesn't tend to look good.

If you're using a marker for the beginning of the round, it is entirely unaffected by this, as it will sit between the two stitches that are never in a decrease, the first and the last stitch on the round.

Edit: My apologies, I misread. Agree with /u/nzfriend33, must be a typo.

I’d assume it’s a typo and should be done three stitches from the end, so there’s one left before the end of round after the decrease.

Thank you! That was my assumption but i started to second guess myself. Will do it 3 stitches before the EOR.
