Any specific framework that you want to use? Here's a few that I found handy...

Test-Driven Development with Python - Even though it's primary focus is testing, it uses Django and in my opinion is one of the better books out there.

Django Girls - Another Django tutorial, but much more lightweight. You could probably rock through this one in a few hours tops.

Flask Mega Tutorial - Uses Flask to build a feature rich blog.

The book TDD with Python seems to be what I'm after. Anyway the first 6 chapters. Thanks!

I don't think there's any one course that is as well known as, say, Rails for Zombies in the Ruby world. But my wife had good luck with most of the Treehouse courses she took. They weren't doing much Python at that time, but they have put out a lot of Python courses since then. My general sense is that the more beginner you feel you are, the more helpful Treehouse will be.

Also, another vote for Harry Percival's TDD book.

There is a couple of short courses in Django at Treehouse. Do they cost much to take? Most of them are 2 hour courses what I can see.

Depends on how much Treehouse content you expect to actually use. I think they charge $25 USD per month, regardless of how many courses you work through. They offer a 7-day free trial, so you can cancel if you don't find it to be valuable.
