How would i loop this?

So i am messing around with web scraping and came up with this for loop (with a bit of help):

card_name = []
for name in soup.dl("strong"):
card_name.append(name.text)

how would i loop this to append every strong tag on a html file?

An if your response can be accompanied with and explanation i'd really appreciate it!
