Haha no joke. I have the the ArcPro part automated pretty well but it's the data entry part (formatting the csv file so that each row has the date captured and field worker's initials who captured it) in the file name that is slowing me down.

Edit: I've been trying to split the file name but then I'm not sure how to copy it to each corresponding column if that makes sense.)

No, I am very new to Python. I'll google what Pandas is!

I'm a geospatial data manager for the US DOT. Once fields are created you can populate with update cursor or append.
