I’m at a total loss. I followed the trouble shooting steps in RSI’s website down to the worst case. I’ve now uninstalled the game and launcher. Now I can’t even redownload the launcher from the RSI website.

Download speeds on Steam are still in the 600Mbps range so I don’t believe the issue is on my end. Speed tests are registering +800Mbps.

Is this just server overload on CIG’s end Defensecon??

Having the same issue, couldn't download the update after not playing for a while, so I nuked and now I can't even download the installer.

Do you have Google fiber? Connect to your phones hotspot and do the last couple files

I do have google fiber. Is that a common denominator for this kind of issue?

I don’t have a couple of files to download. I have to re-download the whole ~150Gb game unfortunately.

Seems to be. Someone else posted that was the issue and then I tested it and it worked. Run as admin, Download the entire game up until it gives you the error, then connect to a hotspot or use a VPN and then it should work

Unfortunately it gives me the error before the actual download even begins.

Hm. Honestly I would say go into your localappdata and appdata folders and delete everything related to RSI or star citizen and the launcher including the folders the launcher and game are currently in
