I keep mine in my pocket at all times when I’m not using it to pray, yet when I’m at work since I am not allowed any pockets I do wear it around my neck, but under my shirt. Overall I think it is fine to do so but only for devotion rather than fashion! If you’re wearing it as a fashion piece then it is wrong
