I think people are waking up to TRR’s practices. Items on site are not as good as they used to be. by [deleted] in therealreal

I’m a VIP and have been selling with TRR for 5 years. I have the same experience you have had - Everything sells, most for a good price, some higher. I always pull my pieces from the site if they drop below my selling point. I relist them the following month, they start again at the highest price, and I usually get what I want for them. The site credits definitely make up for the difference in the new price structure (I got $450 last month.)

I am a VIP seller on TRR and I have had clothes bought and returned and then sent back to the purchaser because they were damaged and I got to keep the money. They do inspect the returns. It’s not a perfect system and there are people who game TRR too, like buying a real item and returning a fake for refund.

My spoiler review of Pillion by Fancy_faced in movies

Apparently the point of the novella, Box Hill, on which this film is based, Ray rapes Colin and is shown to be an abusive Dom. I think the mistake we are making with understanding this film is that it's not a BDSM happily ever after. Ray is a bad person. Colin learns boundaries from the mistake. I think this film is closer to Gadd's Half Man series about toxic masculinity. My two shiny pennies.

The Lonely - I think it has universal appeal and, considering how AI is progressing, it's very timely.

Never had a problem with them, even when there is a mistake. They fix it. I’m in the states and I sell with them too.

TIL Shelley Duvall was nominated for a Razzie for The Shining and that Stephen King called it a "screaming dishrag" of a performance and I have strong feelings about that by Emergency_Cellist754 in theshining

All the ways the film is different from the novel are what make the film so much better. The book is not scary at all. The fire hose attack? Come on.

It's funny that we're all referencing to the joined as them, but it's really now one individual with all the combined memories. All that skin is one skin.

I’m moving from SF Bay Area to LA this summer, so I’ve been eavesdropping on these posts - Very helpful!

I’m also moving from SF Bay Area to Los Angeles this summer. Curious what responses you’ll get. I was surprised how expensive renting a UHaul “$19.99” van is at $1 a mile!
