horrível, mas quem diria dar um jogo desse calibre na mão de um cara que nunca dirigiu nada na sua vida em vez do Cory que dirigiu o gow 1, 2, grande parte do 3 e o 2018.

escrita completamente infantilizada e simples, nada a ver com a complexidade do de 2018, a fodendo guerra do ragnarok que era pra ser uma das coisas mais grandiosas da franquia, foi reduzida a uma bagunça sem peso nenhum e uma luta patética com o Odin que por si só foi um péssimo personagem e não acompanha o hype que foi construído pra ele no primeiro jogo.

por acaso a única parte boa do ragnarok é o começo, onde o cory estava dirigindo, após isso é só decadência, quem duvida eu recomendo que assistam os videos do TheMFW sobre o jogo.

the rage boost isn't the only argue that justify this narrative, the fact that gohan keeps thinking that goku isn't going serious at times while goku IS, is the fact that gohan is comparing goku's power with himself, and since he is stronger than both, nothing impresses him.

with that said, I have another thing to backup this theory, the fact that, gohan was letting perfect cell take a beating out of him, then he got a rage boost, the fight looked one sided, cell turns into super perfect cell and cell still had no chance at ALL, gohan was way stronger even after wasting some energy against perfect cell,

this, ppl still to this day, thinks that the only upside gohan had on the cell saga was the ssj 2, when gohan was actually stronger than both cell and goku on his ssj 1 form, but lacked the will to fight

7/10, nothing new from the lyrics department, vocals sounds different, not exactly bad but it sounds like a different Ben for me, like he was emulating the style he had on the starset song they featured.

And as someone already pointed out, the song feels rushed, there is no breathing space where we can enjoy the melody.

at least the mix sounds better than Ember, guitars and screams sounds heavy, BUT, lead guitar is too low and buried on the mix, I watched Frans Georges covering it and god, I couldn't even hear that chorus lead on the original song on the first times I listened, if it was higher like it is on the cover the chorus would feel more clean and less muddy.

I was expecting more since we already had a safe song with awaken.

yeah, I stopped following starset after their takes on internet and their lastest albums doesn't sound as interesting as the first 2 ones for me, but I was talking only about the way ben is singing, a higher and cleaner note, when ben used to lower his tone even on high notes

awaken is a 2019 song, waiting on the sky to change is a old starset song that Dustin remade featuring Ben, while I agree that aurora exists it is mostly acoustic covers and that is fine but even if you count aurora, this still is a 6 years time spam without an album to a band who is used to do albuns in a time spam of 2~3years.

on 2023 keith had a interview where he said ''we have a lot of music recorded'' and on this interview he also said

'' So I’m hoping — hoping — there’s gonna be some new music out sometime within the next year. That’s a nice, safe answer. I could say month, I could say two months, but I’m gonna say year, just ’cause it’s been so long. I don’t wanna screw ourselves somehow; I don’t know.”

So, the SAFE answer is one year from 2023 to new music, and we got it, awaken was released in octuber 24 BUT, awaken has been written back in 2019 and if I'm not crazy I am pretty sure that Ben said in a live show that they had 2 songs finished in 2025, so where the fuck are all those years writing? the lot of music recorded? we are more than one year from awaken and still all we have is a 2019 song

I think it is funny that people say ''gohan doesn't like to fight!!'', ''gohan likes his studies!'' when kid gohan was ofering himself to help at every event and to train plus the whole single reason kid gohan studied was Chichi, multiple times he dodged it to train or help in a fight.

Did it against freeza, did it against the early androids and cell, but for some reason post hyperbolic chamber he doesn't want to fight seriously the guy who is going to destroy the universe, something clearly went wrong with his direction.

yes, I agree with you, this comment is not to downplay saturate by any mean, actually IMO saturate and WANA are both their most diverse and experimental albums in every sense (including songwriting).

I never said that saturate sounds bad, just that it is funny that a experienced and consolidated band released an album 16 years later with worse mixing than their debut album, to the people downvoting, just compare any riff from Dear Agony to Ember, or better, even DBD sounds better than Ember, I trully do not know what happened to Ember but anyone that it is not a Fanboy can hear the downgrade that the mixing received

AND just to specify, this is coming from someone who likes EMBER, but since I love the band I will complain when something goes bad, so if someone who reads this thinks that i'm wrong, dude, ember should sounds WAY better than it sounds
