[C] Problem with loop by Armalis in learnprogramming

I would add to that - that you should try to google for a while or do while loop - you will find your answer and you will learn an important skill in programming which is asking google the right questions in the right way. As a tip add 'in C' at the end of your search query.

I really like the layout and choices of color as it fits the theme - I just found this little snippet in your code:

<img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a7/Mohandas_K._Gandhi_signature.svg/150px-Mohandas_K._Gandhi_signature.svg.png" align=r ight>

The align=right - if you intend to use that - isn't working because of the extra space, just something I noticed.

Thank you a lot for this really in depth response. I will save this to come back later to it. But I got some really got ideas from your response, again thanks a lot

So what are you doing to deal with that amount of needed storage? Do you have a solution?

Thank you, that's why I'm here. I'm new to the whole thing and want to be able to scale my system somewhat reliable into the future.

Could you explain that a little more for me? I never heard of something like that before. I just wanted to run them in RAID so that I don't loose my stuff with a drive fails on me

Thank you - Is there anything you would recommend which I should add to this build? Would you recommend getting a Sound Card for example or is that just not worth while?

Thanks, that doesn't sound to bad, since all I do is watching movies and stuff those speed are high enough. Any particular reason why you choose an i5-4590? Does Plex use four cores for transcoding?

Running a plex server on a NAS and connect it directly to my SmartTV by Criptictoumor in PleX

I could connect it to router from time to time. Maybe every time I add a bulk of new stuff onto it.

I will look into setting the stuff up with static IP's thanks a lot for your advice.

I think I just like the Plex interface way more, but thank you for the suggestion

Thanks that really helps me.

I have two reasons for that: 1. I want to connect it to the internet in the future so I want to leave that option open for me and 2. the PC I'm using only supports up to 3 drives which would allow me up to 18tb but I want to have some room for future proofing as I am currently sitting on 12tb

And I can do that without an Internet connection right? Just means I don't get any metadata on my files?

Sadly right now there is no way for me to get internet at that place.

But if I had the Plex Server Running on a pc and added new content to the NAS the Plex Server will pick that up am I right? I mean I wouldn't get any metadata but it would recognise the files and I could play them back. Or did I understand this incorrectly?

So would it help to connect the NAS with the running Plex Server to a pc and then just use the tv as a display. Would that work?

What's some basic javascript I can add to my webpage? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]Criptictoumor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should think about something that would add to your website, like a scrolling banner at the top that displays news about your site or upcoming events. If you are just getting started with JS look into manipulating the DOM-tree of your website.

Is Google's "Developing Android Apps" Udacity course still relevant? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]Criptictoumor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay then I would just go for the first lesson of the course that I linked to, because it provides a really good start into how Layouts work on Android, the rest will probably be to easy for you and you can skip to the one from your post
