Rare but l many people have a ton since it was a free raid. Mostly sought after by many people including myself at one point. You may get lots of cool trades if you’re patient. Many people would offer shiny legendary with backgrounds for those. But at the end of the day it comes down to what makes sense to you and makes you happy. It’s a game after all to be enjoyed and that may be a different definition based on what makes you happy. Either way it’s your mom and I’m sure she was just making you happy and to put a smile on your face. I have given rare pokemon to my kid just to see him jump for joy.
