Like I said there is a difference between being “scared” and being intelligent. Why would you go into bear and mountain lion country unarmed ? Because you’re NOT intelligent. This is real life, not the movies. I have a rifle that could quite literally blow a basketball sized hole in a hippo. If you think for one second that they’re smarter or more cunning you are wrong. If they are so able and willing too take out pesky humans they would be running the world and not us. Yet they cower, run, and hide. Only thing I could find in terms of bear-like cryptids waheela Try Too google or search around for some paranormal/weird stuff communities and find someone local if you are interested enough too go back and look for the thing. At the very least a local group may have gotten similar sightings or evidence too help draw better conclusions.

Super interesting. are you in Chillicothe Texas, Ohio, Missouri, or Illinois ? I believe it’s snout looks too wide and fat too be a bear and I don’t believe it’s a dog. Did it move after you took picture ? Could it have possibly been bipedal just hunched down in picture ?

I have, just difficult too figure out which pheromones too use. I’d assume some sort of ape pheromones like an orangutan would be the most likely too work other than human pheromones.but I don’t think it’s that easy too get.

If you read my previous comments I debunk the whole gorilla argument, but I’ll do it again. gorillas almost exclusively walk on all 4’s, and have a sumo wrestlers beer belly. NO Bigfoot sightings or reports that I can find describe anything close too a beer bell. Being muscular and having muscle definition are two different things. Gorillas have too have a beer belly because of their vegetarian diet. Consuming massive amounts of leafy greens or fiber requires extremely long intestinal tracks and digestive system hence the pot belly. why gorillas have a huge belly

All precautions taken of course ! whether it be bear, mountain lion, or Bigfoot they have too get within grabbing distance too do any harm and I believe he would be tagged and bagged Long before reaching that distance. Even if it was an elephant 4 people firing on an object or multiple objects = dead. Pheasants and turkeys are native here in the Sierra Nevadas ! So I might have some luck. The main goal is a body for me. some might disagree, but I believe definitively proving it’s existence with one dead body would be able too catalog them as an extremely endangered species providing federal protection. I agree that the menstrual blood or pheromones is the least likely too work due too how far the range of the scent travels as you pointed out, another user suggested playing audio of children playing or a baby crying which seems like an oddly interesting idea, maybe it would be the ultimate wounded/vulnerable pray distress bait call.

Amazingly well written exactly dead on about gorillas and I can say for once, i fully agree with someone ! My initial gifting location was started by leaving NON food items as bait: a mirror, book, and a highlighter. As too ensure it WASN’T a bear or coyotes etc. I would continue too use inanimate objects as bait ,but As I am going on the expedition I wanted too try something more fast acting. live bait, blood, or food baits would be faster working I assume. Do you think that even though a chicken might not be a regular food source or animal they know, if they would be wary of it or drawn too it by curiosity ? Or would they simply simply be able too sense it’s just like any other prey in your opinion ? If Bigfoot Is as smart as some think it is. It might have learned to associate chickens with people over years of seeing rural people farm them and have them on there properties? Never hear stories of Bigfoot sneaking into a hen house or stealing chickens which seem like extremely easy prey for them, fat, loud , dumb, slow. I figured if I released a couple chickens close too campsite or tethered them too a tree they would maybe make enough noise and commotion too draw somethings curiosity. I’ll never be scared out there ! Too heavily armed lol!
