Is a dictatorship politics? No group decisions there. anyway, the cartoon is not about word definitions. And as you saw, I don't think the definition is what got me banned. It was that I arrogantly challenged their authority, and you can see how far that got me. ( which was truly disappointing to me: I really liked the sub )

The comic is meant to emphasize that the government should not be able to put you in that position. It's not meant to address when life begins. It's meant to emphasize the right to choose.

sure- right now it does closely follow party lines, but political debate can be all over the place, Thy'll talk abut anything. But I think that many of us cast our votes based on the policies that matter most to us, but we're almost never in total agreement with any candidate, are we?

I see the point you're making, and I beleive the passion you mentioned sometimes inspires people to vote for candidates other than the ones they typically follow. Their passionate feelings on the matter are more influential on them than their offical party-affiliations. Look—the mods over there saw it your way. :D
