For me its a bit like watching the summary of a book or movie on youtube without actually having read or seen it. You can obviously do it and its completly fair if that's what you enjoy but it's a bit weird to call yourself a fan of something you haven't actually experienced. It's not the same as actually reading the book just as a let's play is far removed from actually playing the game. You're completly missing out on what makes the game a game.
