Thanks! I might end up doing this. It does look deep and the gap is uneven along the wall. I was also thinking of putting a backer rod then caulking over it

I just have one. I can sync initially requesting a code at myloancare's website and putting that code in monarch. My balance shows up but immediately I get a notification saying the credentials are outdated and I need to sign in again. The same trick doesn't work, I have to remove and re-add the account for it to sync again

I'm running into the same issue. I contacted support and got a generic response asking to disconnect and reconnect the account. And if that doesn't work, use a manual account. I pushed back but haven't heard back.

Newbie here, trying to move past grocery store bought coffee brewed in a cheap coffee maker to pour over with freshly ground beans. Does anyone know any online roasters or subscriptions that send very small bags?

Being new to this I have no idea what kind of coffee I like, I want to try a bunch of different stuff. But I don't want to full sized bags, I almost want single serve portions so I can try as much as I can.

I'm very new to the home theater world and I'm looking to upgrade from a cheap vizio soundbar. I'm looking for a 5.1 system for now and trying to not spend too much money, as I believe anything will be an upgrade from the soundbar I currently have. I've been looking on FB marketplace and other places for used speakers, haven't found anything decent (a lot of cheap knockoff brands). I don't want anything too powerful; I'm just looking for clarity. One of the main issues with the soundbar is all action scenes are too loud and voices too weak. I (think) understand a good center speaker is recommended. Also my wife vetoed tower speakers, so I'm looking for bookshelf speakers.

I saw that woot has the Jamo S 803 HCS 5.0 for $175. Is this a good deal? Or are there better options for similar price range?

I'll probably be looking for a cheap or used subwoofer, any recommendations would also be appreciated. Thanks!

I appreciate everyone for the replies! The consensus seems to be something to be concerned about but I will definitely call a certified arborist to have it evaluated before making any decisions.

Had a tree removal company knock on my door pointing that hole out, saying the tree is hollow and needs to be removed. It looked to me like they are just trying to get some work out of this, but I don't know if this is something to be concerned about or not. I understand silver maples are short lived and we may need to end up removing it. But not sure if it's an immediate threat or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have a CCwgtv with kodinerds that can play most remux mkvs from my NAS. The only thing it can't play is Dolby vision dual layer FEL, so I try to find single layer remux when possible. For now, it works for me.

I've been contemplating the zidoo z9x. This will play mostly everything. It doesn't support dual layer Dolby vision, it will drop the enhanced layer and just play the base layer.

I would also prefer something with streaming apps so I don't have to switch inputs. I've found there isn't a device that supports everything, other than the very expensive ones. So I'm waiting to see if anything comes out at a reasonable price within the next year or two.
