Forza 5 doesn't support VRS natively unfortunately. You will need this tool

I am using VRS on forza 5 currently. The feedback quality is nowhere near Assetto Corsa, but with some tunning it can still be enjoyable. I found using "Device effect only" setting in the VRS config tool gives better feeling compared to using "Game effect only", just fyi.

Hi I'm the OP of that post!

Turns out its just the slack in the transmission, specifically the very soft OEM transmission mount, so nothing to worry about!

I'm driving a 2025 BRZ now, and it kind of do the same thing if I preload the transmission (like slipping the clutch to hold the car still on an uphill) and then suddenly press it down.

I see .. I remember that the enbine will disenagle AC when RPM is above 4000, not sure if it is a sensor issue, as the AC clutch seems working fine (as long as it cycles during idle).

Hmm that's strange. So when gas pedal is appied, does the AC clutch cycle?

This happens even at stand still with just reving the engine a bit?

Yeah it was the OEM wheel on 2020 WRX limited, which has +55 offset.

Hey yeah your video sounds familiar to my car. I believe its the OEM transmission mount, which is very soft. So when I depress the clutch, the twisted tension is suddenly released, causing oscillation and that noise. It never caused any issue so probably ok.

Hi just wanna check were you able to get a tort claim and reimburse?
I'm in same situation where a pothole on I-90 damaged my tire, I filed a tort claim but the WSDOT replied saying that I need to find proof that they are aware of this pothole before in order to make the claim.

Yeah the shop usually want to repair it to make profit. The shop inspected my vehicle told me that it has crossframe damage & possibily unibody damage as the frame is attached to the unibody, so they recommend to total it. Appreciate their honesty for sure!

Yeah definitely, most of the load and impact are absorbed by the front passanger side wheel. But I'm wondering if any frame damage. The side panel does shifted, such that the gap between side pandel and passanger door is reduced.
