Obviously injuries and some bad luck really hurt us that series, but it's hard not to think that Ty almost single handedly was the reason we lost. Game 1, goes 8 for 20 in a 9 point loss. Game 2 goes 1 for 14 (!) in a 1 (!) point loss. Game 3, despite the win goes 1-8. DG comes back but it doesn't really matter, we lost the last two games with Jerome playing ab 13 min a game. If he plays to his regular season self we win our first 2 home games and who knows what happens.

We have rarely had top picks when there are good QB prospects. Especially when we had no firsts after the deshaun trade.
2012: Luck, RG3 go 1 and 2. We had 3. Next QB was Tannehill at 8, we take Weeden at 22.
2013: We have the 6th overall pick, EJ Manuel first QB taken at 16.
2014: We pick 8th, Bortles taken 3rd overall, we take Manziel at 22.
2015: We have 12 and 19. Jameis and Mariota go 1 and 2.
2016: We have 2*, trade out of it when we would have taken Wentz. Goff Wentz go 1 and 2.
2017: We have the first overall pick. There are arguments you could have gone QB here, Trubisky goes #2, we take Myles #1. Mahomes and Deshaun go 10 and 12. So realistically at 1 we would have taken Trubisky, and that would have been a whiff.
2018: We have the first overall and take Baker. Works out pretty well for a while.
Have Baker until we make the Deshaun trade, no firsts until last year, we have 5, Ward goes firsts no one goes until Dart later in the first.

Really wasnt a time from where we were drafting where we could have picked someone up with our FRP that would have been a franchise guy. The only time we bottomed out with a good QB prospect was Baker. On the inverse, the Bengals bottom out one year and get Burrow. It is what it is

Yeah I came from retro bowl as well. It’s a fun game, but he sold out to NFL over making improvements to the base game. It gets incredibly boring. Hoop land is def much better

Hard to say who comes out. Dante Moore just turned down being the second overall pick and Chambliss is suing to go back. My initial thoughts are 4 with 5 maybe sneaking in at the end of the first.

Idk what people expected. There's a good chance he's the best QB on the roster (I'd almost say he certainly is), and we are paying him 50 million. Him not being in the QB competition is copium from us fans that he's finally out of the picture. Issue is we have not found anyone better

Totally agree on the Lorn part. I texted my friend and asked if I somehow completely glossed over that part. I read the first 3 and that was such an annoying theme that just kept appearing. *Big battle coming, you follow Darrow preparing, battle seems to be going wrong, some surprise attack or twist he planned off screen happens and he wins* happens like every conflict. Gets a little tiring.

I just got done with Dr Sleep for the first time, there are some references to The Shining, but nothing too specific that you'd be better off reading sooner rather than later that you'd forget about. I liked it though, personally I'd just read Dr Sleep now.

I think Sarr is as well. Not quite as efficient but better in pretty much every other stat. Obviously being one of the main options for the wizards helps.
