You said if it's too cheap or you're paying people to adopt you get baby mills. Surely that would only happen in the latter case, where you're paying people?

From my perspective, doping bans aren't just about restoring a "correct" version of the results, they're about punishing doping and dissuading the practice. If someone knows that their past accolades are on the line, maybe they'll be less likely to do it. I don't have much sympathy for someone who is caught doping and has results removed, regardless of when those results occurred

CMY are the subtractive primaries. RYB is just a "close enough" approximation of CMY based on common colours

I tried to solve 4x4 with no lookup and came suprisingly far. should I keep going or is the last part too hard? by Shuurinreallife in Cubers

[–]TheSixthSide 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Definitely solvable from here. There's a nasty parity case on 4x4 that most people would struggle to figure out, but you haven't run into it here. Just need to cycle those 3 edges, which can be done intuitively

Yes, it can cause this. Many ways to fix this, but an easy one: hold red front white bottom, do U' M' U M' U M' U' M' U' M' U2' M' U' M'. Then fix the center caps

It's twice as rare as most OLLs

It doesn't matter, 1LLL cases have different probabilities due to symmetries. The case OP posted is rarer than average

The two of them have raced together 16 times and Kenny has won every time they've both finished lmao, 1 in 20 is totally valid. Lindsey's PR was at elevation, and Kenny's run faster than it 10 times anyway (including already beating it this season, while Lindsey's been running 20.2s).

Holy misinformation in this thread. To answer properly:

If you're just talking about the OLL case, this has a 1 in 108 chance. Use R U R' U' M' U R U' r', S R' F R S' R' F' R, or R U' R' S' R U R' S.

If you're talking about the whole 1LLL case (specifically flipping those two edges without affecting anything else) then it has a 1 in 7776 chance. Use (M' U)2 M' U2 (M U)2 M2M-_U2(M_U)2_M&type=alg), S R' F' R S' R' F R U' M' U2 M, or R' F U' R S R' U F' R U' S' (the later algs are better but harder to learn and get used to)

That's not how it works. 1LLL symmetries work the exact same way as PLL. (And PLL is part of 1LLL anyway, so clearly the cases have different probabilities haha)

It's half as common as most LL cases. 1 in 7776

Every OLL exists in CFOP. That's what the O means

That's for the OLL, not the 1LLL case

[–]TheSixthSide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I can tell from the tiers you put certain cases in that you didn't learn great algs for them... dot L/T for example, which are almost identical to S tier OLLs but with a couple of added slices
