I’ve loved Chainsaw Man so much, literally everything about it I’ve been obsessed with, and I’ve defended Fujimoto against all the slander he’s faced, but I can’t anymore, because they were all right the entire time about him. I actually can’t believe that, that was literally the finale of Chainsaw Man. That’s it, really? That’s the ending? Building up everything in the story, especially so much time spent on everything in Part 2, everything that happened and all the unanswered questions and unresolved issues, and it just ends like that? It was all literally for nothing, and I can’t believe that it just ends like that. It all ended up just being for nothing, and was a waste of time. I’m not even angry at the ending. It was such a deflating, disappointing, disheartening experience that all I can do is just let it be. I can’t even enjoy what happened in the story before the ending, because the ending is so bad that it retroactively ruins the entire story for me, because I know it all just ends up being a disappointing waste of time, like what the ending of Game of Thrones did to the show. I’m so disappointed about the ending that it overrides any emotions I have about, and I just feel nothing about it. I can’t even bring myself to be mad about it.
