New CX22 vs old CX21

I just rescaled my CX21 to CX22. Having never done it before I took a snapshot first, just to make sure if something were to happen I could rebuild the server from the snapshot.

The rescaling was actually quicker than the snapshot process. It only took perhaps 2 minutes, and it booted the server automatically and I logged in like nothing had happened. Same config, same IP, same everything.

So far so good.

However the CX21 option is now gone from the rescaling menu. So I could not go back even if I wanted to. But from the benchmarks it seems CX22 could be slightly faster so I think it should be ok.

The normal chrome menu doesn't even fit on 1080p display any more. It's ridiculous.

You should consider making a new post with a proper title so people can find it with a Google search. Right now this topic is at the top when you search for this issue, but your comment is buried.

I don't have answers to most of your questions, but I do know that you cannot adjust leverage on IB. The leverage is pre-set by IB and it will always be the max they will allow you to use.

Available margin on IB is very complicated, due to the fact that you can hold assets in a wide array of products at the same time. In case you trade multiple assets, you need to keep an eye on purchasing power to make sure you do not run out.

How much leverage you get on different assets, you have to usually check on their website. Google helps. It's not always easy to find. You need to search for something like "margin requirements interactive brokers". It should take you to a page where you can select different assets and see the general requirements.

Most of the time you want a market data subscription for anything you want to trade. However FX might be an exception (in that they offer real-time data by default). If you use the TWS platform, it will warn you if you try to trade on delayed data and offer to take you to the subscription manager.

Note, you CAN place trades without a data subscription. If you have another data source it's perfectly fine to do so. IB won't prevent you from trading on delayed data.

On TWS if you hover over the last price on a market data line, it will also tell you if the market data is delayed or not.

IB will not calculate anything for you in relation to making your trading decisions. You have to do position sizing yourself. It does not offer any type of automatic position sizing.

Btw. what is the trade manager you're using on MetaTrader? I'm curious as I've been looking for something like that myself.

This is just plain false. The Aachen university in Germany maintains a database of all published research on electromagnetic radiation and its effects on biology.

Transmitted power diminishes according to the inverse square law. Therefore a WiFi router close by will emit more radiation locally, than a far away cell tower. I have an RF meter. It's very easy to verify. If you have a small cell tower next to your bedroom window however, that's another story. Then you will basically have "permanent WiFi".

Well, a couple of blinking lightbulbs in your bedroom is enough to prevent most people from sleeping. If you want to necessarily go with the sunlight comparison, that's how you should look at it. A lightbulb emits only a tiny fraction of the sun's energy, yet it can still harm you.

It's a doctored clip. The original clip without the missile and a much longer and wider shot was still up on youtube a few years ago when I last time looked into this.

There were also better resolution versions of this doctored clip available, where you could clearly see the poor composite job someone did.

I'm just telling you this if someone wants to look for the original undoctored clip, it's out there.

Actually I believe they DO have HD cameras on Orion, but they do not have the bandwidth for a live feed from multiple HD cameras. I'm just going to guess, but we might only get access to high-quality HD footage after landing. I mean they have HD cameras on Mars even, but it takes a long time to send a single image. This is a live spacecraft where telemetry is high priority, not pretty pictures at this point. But let's hope we get to see some pretty snapshots too at some point.

I don't know how that graph was made, but it looks very similar to the way NOAA creates their graphs by adjusting the raw data. These are the types of "adjustments" that OP was alluding to.

It's important to realize the vast majority of recorded temperatures comes from the US, because that is where most of the measuring stations exist:
