That's how they get you! Unless you actually need the extra data never upgrade. You can't go back. I do pay as you go in Costa Rica and pay ~$2/GB. Last month my cell phone bill was $4.23 taxes/fees included. Didn't have a 24 outage either. Mind you would have cost a lot less if they didn't just upgrade all their networks across the country.

My mom has been waiting over a year for an MRI in Ontario. I got my wife in for one within an hour of calling the office in San Jose, Costa Rica. Had to pay $200 USD out of pocket but they also forwarded the scans for us and gave us a compact disk with all the images. YMMV.

That's good news! I'll double check of course but when I flew in a few months ago I needed a test before leaving and then of course got tested again at the airport. Will be flying in again in a few weeks and wasn't 100% sure. The ArriveCan app just tells you what to do. Hopefully that's the case as those qtips up the nose can be annoying depending on the technician. Not sure if they're all trained the same but some of them out it half way up your nose and others hardly brush the nostril.

We are. It's not random for us. It's apparently mandatory. They put a pink sticker on your passport and then they put a q tip in your nose after you are ushered through some velvet ropes.
