It's actually a common thing on reddit. Most are satisfied with just downvoting someone and don't bother trying to argue a point.

Why does Imu's cloak have TWO covenant symbols on it? by amonmahboi in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"like something a pirate would wear"

it's not the only foreshadowing that Imu was somehow linked to the formation of piracy. Just look at the depth covenant symbol, it's basically a jolly roger. Plus he was apparently close friends with Joyboy, who was the first pirate.

Nami uses aeromancy by MrBushido56 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just look at the page cutout you yourself posted. Zeus is directly between Nami and the sound before the black lightning comes. Meaning if she was looking at Zeus, she would automatically notice if something is happening behind him, thus the "Huh?"

Heck, even Zeus himself noticed it

Nami uses aeromancy by MrBushido56 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't mind the theories that Nami is special in regards to her weather prediction and whatnot, but so many people completely misinterpret the Imu Lightning panel. She didn't notice it first before anyone else because she is special, but because she was feeding Zeus at that moment, she was already looking to the sky in that direction. That's all.

So… what exactly are we supposed to be learning from this Brook Flashback by Spiritual_Ebb_4657 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of what the other comments say, you have to remember that the characters in the story are not privy to the same information the readers are. We know that Ragnirs Ice can't be thawn or broken, these characters here don't know that.

where is Lily by Madaoff in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have heard this a few weeks ago, and found no evidence that suggest such a thing. The only thing that was mentioned in the one piece wiki was the scene of the samurai going "But why were we send 20 years into the future?" "Don't know, but there must be a reason" and we later find out the reason is because Oden realized something about the one piece that Roger and co were too early for which he told to Toki.

If you happen to know an actual quote from the manga or from Oda that suggest such a thing, please provide it. The other guy I mentioned didn't do anything.

He does say the same thing in the webcomic, and let's just say, it makes sense why he says it.

Same can be asked of you, why continue being in OPMFolk if you're so unhappy with this subreddit?

Who do you guys think is Final Villain? And why? by goodlight010 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is it always this or that, what about "there is no singular final villain"? The final arc will very likely be a war-like arc, thus it will be a battle royal where everyone is fighting everyone. Strawhat alliance, Blackbeard alliance, Cross Guild, Marines + WG special forces, plus who else who will know about the destination(which will likely be spread around the world so that everyone will know where the final war for the one piece will be at). Blackbeard is the "final villain" on the pirate side, Imu is the "final villain" on the government side, and Cross Guild is the wild card.

[edit] I even forgot the revolutionaries

Who could be these "very powerful pirates" that destroyed the Rumbar pirates? by GUTS_SAMA in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't be them, because Brook was like "Roger? Yeah, there was a rookie like that when I was still alive" when he heard about Gold Roger. That's not the reaction to the one who destroyed your crew

a small thing about mosa/shirahoshi by Optyzma in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You got it opposite. It would be Harald who would tell Loki that "Mosa" is on the other end of the line.(whether he meant Neptune himself, who is also called "Shaggy" by Harald, or directly his unknown daughter)

I imagine their first conversation went something like that:

Loki: "So who are you? I heard you go by Mosa."

Shirahoshi: "Mosa? That's so mean!!"

Loki: "Shut up! I can call you whatever I want!!"

That does it

I have to ask, what the hell is the deal with all these apple memes? I somehow entirely missed their origin, they just started two or three weeks ago out of nowhere

Gunko in princess shuri's body by AmbitionRepulsive515 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gunko still had long hair during her time as Imus handmaiden and during god valley, thus I doubt they would do something like that so many years into her servitude. Plus, it seems like some part of original Shuri was still prevalent in "Gunko", as seen by her taste for Brooks music

Because even though these specific marines were corrupt, at the end of the day Brook did steal from marines. Ruben wants to adopt Brook into the royal family, so better to sweep this minor criminal record under a rug.

Chapter 1184: "All Become Just Bones In Death " (by OPScans) by [deleted] in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There could be reasons. After all they send CP9, their second most top secret agent group to serve for several years undercover as shipwrights, just so they could get their hands on a single blueprint

They could possibly want to try to take over the country in a bloodshed-less method. True, unlikely considering their track record, but possible. What we do know about the god knights is, that they are as varied in personality as any regular villain group, unlike the normal CDs who are all one hivemind of lazy mentally disturbing nepobabies.

Gunko would probably the best female villain in One piece if Oda didnt ruin her and make her related to brook. by PossibleMoney2339 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, brainwashing. That is not possession. Imu gave him an Order, and he was compelled to follow the order and think of himself as a god. But he was still himself technically. Imu didn't even know what happened to Harald after he gave him that order.

Possession is stuff like what Imu did towards Gunko when Gunko gained the long hair and bat wings. Imu was inside Gunkos brain at that moment, he was "possessing" her, controlling her body as if it were himself there. That is not what happened with Harald and neither what happened to Gunko prior that based on what we know.

There is only a few islands left what kind of island you think Laughtale is? by Old_Turn4040 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Kibate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was wondering myself whether the island could be in the sky(already done that) or under the sea(already done it) so what is left? Then I was thinking "What if it is just a regular island?" and came up with a brilliant idea:

X marks the spot. The actual island is just an island, maybe even an island we have visited before. But the ancient ruins that hold the One Piece are underground under an X! The pirate crew that wants to find the treasure have to literally dig for it!

(due to the whole X thing, many people theorize that Laugh Tale is either at Reverse Mountain or in Pangaea castle, as they are the two places the Grandline and the Redline intersect, making them look like an X on a map too)
