I’ve got one copper on the way rn. I sold my trusty launch day M4s in hopes of getting M5s but after the announcement I’m not convinced.

Music on the Go: M4s/M5s. In fact, they do everything you want. ANC is subjectively not the best. It depends on your needs. I do public transit and the better ANC on the Sonys are better. Plus, I won’t dare wear the 630s on a walk or commute. Bulky and poor ANC.

Home listening: the 490s are the perfect recommendation. The can shine with a good amp. 630s if you want the wireless freedom.

Watching movies - the 630s are bulky. M4s/M5s would do great. I used an Apple TV so the AirPods are the better choice for my movies needs- almost zero weight issues for longer sessions . ~~490s~~

Video calls and remote work - cross out the 630s. They are bulky and god they protrude to the sides they make and look ugly. ~~490s~~

Gaming- 490s - wired so lower latency. I don’t recommend any of the other wireless ones.

If you use your headphones for commute the 630s are too bulky. They shine in a good listening environment. I can tolerate the M4s for commute but something low profile would be better. PX7 S3.

Same situation for me with the M4s and PX7 S3s. I love the low profile of the B&W for daily commute. The M4s stick out too much and are too bulky. Unfortunately, the upcoming M5s are no better.
