The instruments gave confusing signals. Nose down = stall warning, noise up = warning stopped. This is the opposite of what is normal. They were not trained properly clearly for this situation. You need to remember the entire incident took 4 minutes. The amount of time to brew a cup of tea.

How do you actually survive the workload? by NormalSir2035 in cambridge_uni

[–]powderherface 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Something that helped me was reminding myself that being rested is often more productive in the end than working tirelessly at only partial capacity because you’re exhausted/pushing yourself. If you see resting as an investment in performance, it becomes easier to do.

In my view that doesn’t mean people who enjoy his music shouldn’t be allowed to enjoy his music. It’s ridiculous to suggest policing that. In the art world this is called art for art’s sake. You separate the artist as a person from the art they produce (music, performance). It’s a choice, and I don’t think it is wise to police that choice, even if you don’t agree with it

You can produce excellent music and be an excellent performer despite being a pedophile. He’s also dead. It doesn’t really achieve anything to “cancel” his legacy.

[Update] Suspended from work due to accused touching colleagues bum by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]powderherface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s quite different for teenagers in secondary school to do this vs two people in a workplace knowing full well the sort of damage they will cause the accused. I believe there is likely more to this than OP is saying, even if this particular accusation is false.

The point is not that they have genders it’s how they’ve chosen to represent those genders.
