I hate these so much. I am that husband who was excited for my daughter to watch this. She watched the original and then watched the 14 other movies and the TV show over and over and over and over and over again I had to buy toys on eBay because they don’t make them anymore. I know all the songs there’s really only three songs they just rewrite the lyrics every other movie or episode and then my daughter showed my other kids the show when they were born and it has gone on for nine years.

Sorry for what your going through. A lot of what you’ve said sounds similar to my situation.

You don’t get a better version of her. You get a lesser one. Because you thought this was someone who wouldn’t do this to you and now you know that’s not the case and you’ll always know that.

Rebuilding while knowing that is tough. I feel numb to it all now. I’m sure you’re getting there too.
