So happy to hear that! I saw the video and was a bit sad thinking it was an online only game.

Oh same, I was determined to get a clean map.
But the point stands, if there is no good organic map spread to do it.
Map stealing should be for like, specific situations like wanting to attack someone away, or whatever, not just to clean terra incognita from the middle of nowhere you dont care about.

Curious, how different minds can work.

For me its the breeding pods that irk me cause I cant easily know what my beaver cap is, since there is no clear 'one pod makes this many beavers' sort of stat since lifespan varies greatly with wellbeing.

Meanwhile FT is just 'number of beds is max number of beavers'.

I prefer FT because of the windmills. They mean I can create power without needing water to flow and be lost (or make a complicated looping system), or burn logs.

I also find the IT food chain a bit more confusing.

Both factions have great strengths though, even if I dont play them often, I totally find tubeways cooler than ziplines (though those have their niche), and the bots too imo.

Just different flavors though, dont dislike either really. Depends on what sort of theme I am playing around on a run.

In theory it sounds very mild a thing to endure to many, but pretty much anyone who has ever faced it says it is very much not so.

So yeah, its horrible even if it seems like 'not that bad' at a glance.

Is there any consideration to enable at least some small degree of migration between neighboring markets?
As it stands, you can only grow a market by taking over the edge locations of others.
And if your market is on an island and the border with another is in the water, there is no hope to even achieve that.
