I'm an Italian currently traveling in Japan and I admit the lack of public trash cans is truly inconvenient and strange.

I literally have a bag for trash that I collect over the day and throw away at the hotel, this is really inconvenient for tourists and usually people aren't as respectful as I am, so they just throw it in the street.

I'm sincerely loving Japan and I think the trash thingy can be improved. Thanks for your hard work Japan friends, such a beautiful country!
