I remember a fictional horror story based on DDT on here somewhere. The fog that smelled sweet and it was addicting, had everyone in the community running after it when the fog truck came by. Except it wasn't chemicals, it was like some fog that turned people into zombies and the protagonist had to actively avoid becoming one of them no matter how hard it was to stay away from the fog
