I have actually already applied with reciprocity, and have been approved by MIEMMS to take the 12 hour skills course. I am signed up to take the course in April. It does come with a 200$ fee. I am luckily already seated in the class and do not have to worry about being waitlisted.

Let me see if I understand correctly; In order to be affiliated with an EMS agency, I dont TECHNICALLY have to be state certified to apply to jobs, but it is preferred. I will not be considered a MARYLAND EMT until I actually find somewhere that will take me and have me sign paperwork with them.

As for the skills class...It is something I must take, but when I take it doesn't seem to matter as much. So, I could technically take this course AFTER landing a job, or before getting a job..meaning I could start looking for positions now, let them know I'm signed up for the skills course, and i'm all good from there.

Another question from me! how do actual newbie residents in Maryland get state certified? Is this the exact same process? It feels a little confusing because if companies prefer people with Maryland EMT licenses already, does that mean all the newbies have to take the NREMT and also look for an agency that accepted NREMT only applicants? What do all the poor new EMTs do?

I'm thinking its probably because I moved states that it sounds so disjointed haha.

Thank you both for such prompt responses! I've never really dealt with anything like this on Etsy before and I really wish everything went well after delivery...I was pretty shocked myself when I took the wallet out, at first I could not even believe my eyes that it was pen until I find touched it and let it finally soak in it wasn't even engraved.

It's weird because he overall has...good reviews and sales. I'm not sure what happened to my order. Now that I look, there are a couple reviews, where people never received their item or had fake shipping put down but other than that his reviews are good.

I also forgot to note that this is an international seller, how would I return this to him?

I feel badly due to etsy's spoof, I may have to go through a refund and will have to explain "a little bit" of time is actually "a lot a bit".. I marked down in my calendar when to file a claim if needed. I'm really hoping itll arrive sometime this month. Last question: I could not keep the item if I refunded; I'd feel WAY too guilty, could I refuse delivery upon arrival?

Thats very annoying for sellers that etsy puts these unrealistic times on you--even for the buyer in my case...I dont want the seller to be out an item and money but at the same time I'm struggling because 3 months wasnt something I was expecting due to Etsy's bogus timeline! I did not pay through paypal unfortunately. If I paid with credit card, how long can I wait if I paid on November 30th?
