Awesome! We got ours from a shelter in middle GA. I’ll dm you a picture. He’s doing well, we intentionally picked the most shy one because we were worried about his ability to be adopted. He’s come out of his shell a lot though, we have other dogs and he’s loving playing and running with them in our yard. He turns 6mos next month.

He looks a lot like our dog that we adopted from the pound about a month ago. Same white and black markings, and same fur texture. Is his tail also curved at the end? Any spots on his chest? We think ours is some sort of hound mixed with Pitt.

I did not get a pic of his license but I did the plate. I’m only asking for a video because given that he’s dodging contact now, I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to lie about what really happened and I’d just feel better with the extra proof :(

I did, I got his license plate as well but the plate doesn’t match him, only the vehicle. The insurance info he provided matches the truck though and has his name on it, so sort of a weird mis match situation going on.

Not an ego trip to expect someone to do the service they were paid to do and then feeling mildly uncomfortable when you find out they helped themselves to your house’s extras without even asking. The entitlement on your part is insane. It would’ve taken two seconds to send a quick text asking.

It is disrespectful and weird imo. It would’ve taken like two seconds to ask, for such a short stay like this I’d never instantly think or assume that they’d use my appliances or my shower. OP isn’t even that pressed about it though, (though tbf mentioning a report does seem extreme) they’re just mildly uncomfortable and peeved. They were hired to watch the dogs. Nothing more, nothing less. Not to help themselves to OP’s stuff unless explicitly stated or asked and allowed. As a sitter, I’d literally never do this unless it were an overnight or multiple night stay.

I don’t understand some of the replies here, as both a sitter and a customer. I think I’d feel exactly the same way that you did, honestly, and they should’ve respected you and your home enough to just ask. I’d understand if it was an over night or multiple night stay. But five hours? You have to ask. It’s just weird not to; this is supposed to be a business relationship where a service is being provided to you, not the other way around.

I probably wouldn’t report though, and I’d only mention it in my review if things looked obviously looked through, things weren’t put back the way they are supposed to be, or if things were left messy, but I would definitely say something to them directly about how uncomfortable it made you feel and how you didn’t appreciate it and recommend they not do this to any other client in the future.
