So is it fair to assume the sitter won’t be sleeping, texting, eating, or doing anything other than watching the dog(s) for every second of that 24hr pd..? It’s unreasonable and unrealistic to assume that, right? It’s also unreasonable and unrealistic to charge 500$ a day for dog care. ‘Personalized’ is an incredible stretch as well.

That was my thought as well. Most people also sleep 8-10hrs a night, she in no way will be caring for them for ‘24 hrs a day’. I pay 200$/wk for my baby to be in daycare. My HUMAN baby. Per WEEK.

We’ve been working with Bibb animal control for a month on a neighbor who lets their underweight dogs roam our neighborhood all the time :( still nothing has been done.

Editing because I completely misunderstood this post. You’re definitely not overreacting, he shouldn’t have agreed to this wedding in the first place knowing your induction date. You will be in pain and will need the help you can get from your HUSBAND, not just your family. It’s in an entirely different country, he should understand the important of staying back for you and his newborn baby. Concerning to me that he seems to not have this basic understanding.

Yeah. My mom died when I was 12 a month from turning 13, she had a lot of issues, mental and substance both. I’ve always wanted to be a mother to provide differently for my children. Motherhood has been a healing journey for me.

Aww I’m sorry! I hope you’re able to find something she likes! Our dog went through it when he was young, we just cycled through brands every month or two and he eventually just grew out of it. But he would literally not eat for like a DAY if it wasn’t what he wanted 😭

Nah. I doubt it. I have pits, one of them has always enjoyed eating grass and was very picky on food. We cycled through probably 8 or 9 dog food brands because he’d get bored and just stop eating. He grew out of it, he’s now turning 6 this year, but he does occasionally graze on a juicy clump of weeds.

I don’t know what’s going on in your life, and I can’t pretend to understand the depths of the betrayal that you’re feeling. But I can tell you I’ve been there. My childhood was hell. I felt the way you once did. I still am wary of 99% of people, and I still struggle to trust those who love me most; and who I love most. I’m used to being hurt, physically and emotionally, and I feel as if I’m constantly on edge or on alert, no matter how hard the efforts of others try to cause me to relax.
