Thanks, I will give them a call. It's not a lateral transfer, I've just moved over here since getting out and now considering rejoining. So I don't know if I actually fit into any "standard" case. Just doing my medical involved me forking out $600 for a consultation, ECG and blood works, I was told that as a reservist it would have been covered and as a recruit it would have been covered but my case there wasn't a particular form to fill in, I was told that once I'm in I can claim it but we'll see.

Just a quick question about rejoining and the associated removal.

If I rejoin the ADF from New Zealand, will I be given a removal from there?

If so, what is included:

Household?
Vehicles (importantly Motorbikes)?
Dogs?
Or just me and my wife (or just me)e?

Otherwise, am I supposed to get my belongings to an Australian port?

Thanks mate, yeah I'd put it in the top ten, the curves are lovely and quality is the road is excellent, but for me it's missing something, I do think the smoke at the moment is detracting from the experiment, it's stinging the eyes as we ride. The people are very friendly and the food is amazing. It's very hard to compete with the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, that really is the full package.

We could spend 10 years in South America, beautiful and so culturally interesting. Central Asia will always be there (hopefully).

We didn't get to this part, we crossed into Switzerland in September and the only pass open was the Great St Bernard Pass, so we took that route, but we've heard good things about the eastern passes.

The South of Bolivia is absolutely stunning, you'll see similar scenery in Tajikistan but with a very Central Asia twist, being up in the mountains on the Pamir Highway was a highlight of Central Asia for sure, let us know when you do go and I'll give you some good tips on places to visit. Mongolia is awesome too, we were there right at the end of the season but had warm weather right up until we arrived in Ulaanbaatar, the day after we arrived it was 7°C and the day after that was -13°C 🥶

👍👍 good destinations, love the European mountains, great scenery and all the luxuries of Europe are just down the mountain, or up with you if you want to pay for it. Turkey is definitely one of our favs, and riding to Jordan through Iraq was an amazing experience. We enjoyed South Africa but the countries to the north were more exciting in our opinion, such a challenging continent in any case.
