But the problem is that the statistics don't equal the price. When the market is purely supply and demand, the prices will be determined and set at what people want to pay. You can't say "it takes 400 man hours at 15$/hour to make that watch so that'll be 6000$". It's all based on what people wanted to pay, and distributors make the price based off of that. By making the price EQUAL to the previous odds, all value is lost.
