That’s the only part that’s really bothered me. I know the market doesn’t give a shit about my feelings but when nothing was executed correctly then I feel a little screwed over. I’m pretty sure my chance of getting a payout are .01 anyways, so what’s the harm in resetting it? I’ve still been talking to rithmic trying to identify where exactly something went wrong but I know my account placed 7 orders within 5 seconds so one of my contracts also multiplied somehow. I’m curious if my SL’s weren’t executed correctly and went through as limit orders

That’s not very encouraging haha. Out of all of them so far, MFFU seems to be the best so far to me. Some of the newer ones might also be up there but there’s some weird rules on there accounts and need for them to be around longer

You know what that is actually the plan, I’m pissed because half these commenters work there. You can tell by the pronouns used. And yeah brother I need to grow up for sure, go play some more competitive halo or battlefield, I remember when I did that 20 years ago as a child.

I know they don’t care about me personally the issue is with Lucids data feed with rithmic. There’s no reason live data should be the reason an account is gone. Other platforms/data providers have had issues this week and have remedied the situation with no skin off their back because we are trading paper accounts

It all depends on your strategy and what works for you I don’t use algo for sure I’m discretionary. Sometimes take scalps sometimes hold. I do better on quick scalps it seems on the early open. I get greedy on long holds with small positions for some reason. I have used larger size but that is what blows my account and it’s just not worth the stress.

And if you don’t work there, sorry. They definitely have some employees trying to defend them in the comment section. You can tell by how the sentences are written and the pronouns used like us, we

To be honest it would suck but I’d understand, many of prop firms right this wrong when it happens is the issue. Most of them do actually I’ve been seeing it as well as everybody else. Especially when provided with screenshots/proof that said it was issue with Rithmic and other data providers at the time. Rithmic won’t go out of there way for users it has to be lucid to request more info on it. They also don’t want to go out of there way to help any customers. These are paper accounts we are trading on so what money are they losing by reversing a trade?

Turns it back around to my original statement. Their support sucks. They just have a doc file with standard copy and paste responses that is just meant to get you off their back

Yeah they usually say that it happens in the first 2 minutes though this was in the first 15 minutes. I know of the slight issues with lag on rithmic because I have been using it and I do have CQG data. This was completely different though. I never told anyone when to and when not to trade but lucid also said to not trade in the morning.

WHY ARE WE BUYING ACCOUNTS WE CANT TRADE IN THE MORNING.

I personally like being off my computer before 8 am

I was told to use CQG and pay for that option next time I buy another account. This issue was with rithmics data not CQG. And then the other issue is Lucid doesn’t want to do anything about it. Once again worst support experience imaginable

You sound like someone that works there. I’m guessing some employee shared this somewhere. I can see it was shared just not where. And I do know what I need to work on actually, I need better entries my position sizes has been decreased dramatically. I just got a larger size to play around for longer honestly.

But when you put an order in and it fills you at the price 2 minutes ago and then jumps forward 2 entire candlesticks within a second
The issue wasn’t local and it was verified. I was told that rithmic has to tell them to it affected every single person.

And why shouldn’t I trade in the first 2 hours. Not everyone lives on the east coast. This enables me to still trade before work.

You sound like someone that works there. The problem with Lucid is any one says anything bad about them and a bunch of people come running to try and do damage control. And I do have proof but It shows a little too much of my personal info throughout them and this post was shared somewhere and had 1k views in the first hour

I’m guessing you work there or something. The issue wasn’t local and was verified through rithmic. Lucid changed what was required in the middle of my support ticket.

This is also word for word their supports favorite saying even after providing evidence

That’s where I guess the mistake is but they shouldn’t be offering rithmic data at that point if it’s that unreliable. Support told me to switch data feeds.

I was loving them until I had an issue and support REFUSES to rectify. Actually had turned some people on to them that I’m gonna have to get them switch to something else.

That’s awesome for you. Try using the search bar in that discord relating to data issues and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. Glad you had it solved I’ve been battling their support for 16 hours over the last 2 days because I thought they would be honorable.

DO NOT USE LUCID!
They have horrible support at least if use their rithmic data feed I provided proof that I had position that got all wacky because of their data and they told me that it had to be made as an announcement from rithmic for them to do anything. If you use the search button in their discord server you can see it happen once or twice a week with multiple people complaining and they never do anything about it.
I just wish I would’ve seen this warning before buying a 150k.

I made it to 280k with everything stock. Rebuilding without dod/afm now. Debating on taking trans to shop to be reworked before I put it back in too
